The Voice Gym PTY LTD
One to One Lessons
(Online & In-Studio)
Cancellations and Reschedules: Any no-shows, reschedules, or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice before the booked lesson will forfeit the full fee. Rescheduling is allowed before the 24-hour deadline.
Video Feedback Sessions: Must be used within 7 days of the session booked with the add-on. They do not accumulate or rollover.
Refunds: A $20 administration fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Group Classes (Online & In-Studio)
Group Singing Classes, Children’s Classes, Certification Programs.
Cancellations and Reschedules: If you reschedule or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice before the booked class, or you are a no-show, you will forfeit the full fee. Rescheduling or cancellation of attendance is allowed before the 48-hour deadline. This does not apply to Certification Programs.

Commitment: Most adult group classes are casual and can be attended weekly. The terms above apply to these classes.
Estill Certification Classes (eg. EFP Preparation, EMT Programs).
Payment Fee Model & Commitment: By enrolling in these programs, you agree to a duration of commitment (such as 28 weeks) with automatic weekly payments processed via Stripe. This subscription-based payment plan continues for the full term, regardless of attendance. No refunds will be issued, as all sessions are recorded and accessible. Withdrawals require a minimum of 4 weeks' written notice. After Week 4, cancellation incurs a fee of 50% of the remaining balance, and access to all recordings, group chats, and sessions will be revoked. If the instructor is unavailable, a qualified substitute may lead the session, or a recorded session will be provided. If necessary, a makeup session may be scheduled.
Access to Recordings: All participants have access to recorded sessions for 60 days after the program ends.
Missed Live Classes: If you need to miss a live class, 48 hours’ notice is required to receive a 3-10 min 1:1 feedback session the following week.
Self-Directed Participants: Feedback sessions are included in registration.
No Reschedules: Missed or unscheduled feedback sessions will be forfeited and do not roll over.
EFP Test Readiness: Completion of the program does not guarantee you will be ready for the EFP test. However, with daily practice, most participants are prepared by the end or shortly after.
Additional Sessions: Extra private sessions may be beneficial but are not required for test readiness.
One-to-One 5 Lesson Packages Terms and Conditions:
This voucher is valid for 185 Days.
You may reschedule/change your session using the appointment booking link on your confirmation email up to 24 hours before your lesson.
Your In-Studio lesson may be exchanged for an Online if needed. This is a decided case by case. Please contact Stephanie at thevoicegystudio@gmail.com

Workshops

Cancellation by Client: Clients may cancel up to 48 hours before the workshop. Less than 48 hours before 7am on the workshop day, the full fee is forfeited. A $50 administration fee will be charged for refunds.
Cancellation by The Voice Gym: The Voice Gym reserves the right to cancel the workshop at any time, for any reason. If cancelled by The Voice Gym, all payments will be refunded in full.
Workshops

No Refunds: Due to venue hire and possible travel costs, no refunds will be offered.

International Workshops
(In-Person)
No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for any reason, including illness, gigs, shows, or other reasons.
Viability Decisions: Decisions on the viability of the workshop are based on the number of participants, as our team travels internationally.
Cancellation by The Voice Gym: The Voice Gym reserves the right to cancel the workshop. If canceled, full refunds will be issued to all participants. The Voice Gym will not be responsible for any client accommodation or flight cancellation fees due to the event's cancellation.
Estill Level 1&2 Courses
(Online & In-Person)
Refund Policy:
4 weeks or more before the course: 90% refund.
4-1 weeks before the course: 25% refund.
1 week or less before the course: No refund, regardless of circumstances (including illness).
EVI Fees: The Estill Voice International (EVI) Online Academy and Resource Fee is non-refundable as stated in EVI's terms and conditions. However, you keep the PDF workbooks and lifetime access to the Foundations of EVT Online Course.
Cancellation by The Voice Gym: If The Voice Gym cancels the course, all payments to The Voice Gym will be refunded. The EVI Resource Fee cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another course with The Voice Gym. For international and interstate courses, The Voice Gym will not be responsible for any client accommodation or flight cancellation fees due to the event's cancellation.
Payment Plans for Estill Courses

Estill Course Payment Plans Terms and Conditions:
Payment Terms:
Participants must be fully up-to-date with their payments by the start of the course to attend. Access to the course will be denied if payments are not current.
Payment Plans do NOT include (EVI) Estill Voice International's independent Resource Fee for the Foundations of Estill Voice Training™ online course, Workbooks and Handouts, purchased through the EVI registration link, and payable directly to EVI. Please read their policies for further information.
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
Payments made for the course are non-refundable.
In case of non-payment or failure to complete the payment plan, access to the course will be revoked, and no refunds will be issued for any payments already made.
The Voice Gym Cancellation:
If The Voice Gym must cancel the Estill Course for any reason, your partial payments will be fully refunded or transferred to an agreed-upon future available course with The Voice Gym.
EVI does not refund their fee under any circumstances, however, you will still have Lifetime access to Foundations of EVT™, and the workbooks.
In the case of The Voice Gym course cancellation, it may also be possible to move this registration to another course with The Voice Gym, or possibly another eligible course. The Voice Gym will communicate with you about your options and negotiate with EVI on your behalf.

Commerce Disclosure & Personal Responsibility
The Voice Gym ("we," "us," or "our") offers online and in-person programs, courses, and services that require payment through third-party platforms. By purchasing and participating in our offerings, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Payment Processing – All transactions are securely processed through Stripe and Acuity Scheduling. We do not store or have direct access to your payment details. Any issues related to payment security should be directed to Stripe or Acuity.
Course & Service Purchases – Our programs operate on a subscription or one-time payment model, as specified at checkout. Payments are binding, and refunds are not provided unless explicitly stated in our Terms & Conditions.
No Guarantee of Results – While our training is designed to help participants develop their vocal skills, results vary based on individual effort, practice, and application. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
Vocal Health & Injury Disclaimer – Participation in vocal training carries some inherent risks. While we provide expert instruction based on evidence-based voice science, each participant is responsible for their own vocal health and well-being. We are not liable for any vocal strain, injury, or other issues resulting from incorrect application of techniques or failure to follow guidance. If you experience discomfort or vocal fatigue, you should stop and seek advice from a qualified medical professional.
In-Person Sessions & Liability – In-person lessons are conducted at our dedicated home studio. By attending, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for your own safety during sessions.
We maintain a safe and professional learning environment, but The Voice Gym is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in training at our premises.
If you have a medical condition affecting your voice, it is your responsibility to disclose this before beginning training.
Liability & Australian Consumer Law Compliance – Nothing in this disclosure limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). However, to the extent permitted by law:
The Voice Gym is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred through participation in our programs, whether online or in person.
We do not provide refunds unless required by law.
